Having moved to Cornwall in 2010 and after a life of meeting and working in the service industry, I have drawn on my recollections of people and a little inventive imagination to create this trilogy of detective mysteries which will provide a little escapism with a few twists and turns.

Cornwall is a delight with its extremes of weather, at times full of mizzle, and fabulous landscapes providing the perfect backdrop for mystery and intrigue.

I moved from the South East and found inspiration to write having relocated to the spectacular north coast near Bude.

Please enjoy these linked stories and move through the mysteries with Detective Inspector Freeman and his sidekick Detective Constable Soloman.

no-trace

No Trace

An eerie crime occurs on the North Cornwall Coast, discovered by an elderly widow, alone one October evening. The police have their work cut out as the plot thickens and the clues are reluctant to reveal themselves. Set over several counties the ensuing investigation begins to release the clues and the start of a hidden love affair.

No Panic

When the parents of Simon and Vanessa fail to return from holidaying in Cornwall, investigations begin. It’s a long hot scorching summer and the West Country is even busier than usual with extra visitors. The disappearance is mysterious and without trace. No one is prepared for the dark secrets which are uncovered. Police officers, Freeman and Soloman, start to unravel the case amidst great changes in their own personal lives.

The final book in a trilogy of mystery and intrigue. It is February and a body is found at the bottom of a cliff on the North Cornwall Coast. Detectives Freeman and Soloman start to unravel the ensuing conundrum. A few months later, a second mysterious death occurs, connected to the same family, in similar circumstances, 1600 miles away. Freeman and Soloman rush to help the local police, as more complications unfold. The plot winds around developments in their personal lives, causing heartache and complications for the two detectives.
